ZSC provides learners with positive learning environment by offering a number of facilities to its students.
ZSC is equipped with spacious, ventilated and well-maintained classrooms. The entire layout of the classrooms is designed in a way that contributes to positively in physical, psychological, social and emotional learning. The organization of the seats helps the students to feel more organized and reduce distraction. Moreover, considering the effect of lightening and temperature on students’ achievement and the electricity breakdown of the city, the college is equipped with standby generator that avoids distraction during the process of teaching and learning.
In addition to this, the college has its physics, chemistry, biology and medical technology labs which are well-equipped with instruments, samples chemicals and other supplies. Laboratory equipment allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts. The procedures and practicals are performed under the supervision of the laboratory technician and the head of the department.
Furthermore, the college has a huge library that holds plenty of materials, books, and reference books. There are extensive reading and study area in the library open for the enrolled students. The aim of DZIC is to develop reading culture among the students to enhance their academic performance.
To improve students’ physical heath, the college has a huge ground where students engaging themselves in outdoor activities. Besides, sports competition is organized annually to improve students’ personal, emotional and physical development.
